What is Loopky?
A free flashcards app with spaced repetition. You make or import decks, study a few minutes a day, and each card comes back right before you forget it.
Is it really free?
Yes. No price, no subscription, no ads and no in-app purchases. The code is open source under MIT.
Where does it run?
Android 10 and later, on phones and tablets. The iOS app is coming soon. On computers, a command line tool manages decks.
Can I import Anki decks?
Yes: .apkg with text, images and cloze, plus .txt, .csv and pasted lists. Audio, LaTeX and review history are not imported.
How does it schedule cards?
Fixed intervals per button: under 10 minutes for Again, then 1, 3 and 7 days by default, each adjustable up to 365.
Can it read cards aloud?
Yes, in 35 languages and variants, and Speak mode checks your pronunciation.
Can I share decks?
Yes. Publish a deck and share its link. Others can follow it or clone it.
Are my decks private?
No. Published decks are public and searchable. Your study progress stays under your own key.
How do I sign in?
With a Pubky key through the Pubky Ring app, or by creating an account in the app. No email or password.
Does Loopky track me?
No. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no ads.
Does it work offline?
Partly. Offline reviews are saved and sent later, but loading decks needs a connection.
Can an AI make decks for me?
Yes. The command line tool is built for AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.
